Si è conclusa a Katowice, in Polonia, la tre giorni di incontri del progetto SOCORE - Social Competences for Research and Innovation Infrastructure (Competenze Sociali per le Infrastrutture di Ricerca e Innovazione), di cui Anci Liguria è partner, finanziato dal programma Interreg Europe. L'evento ha rappresentato, per il Direttore di Anci Liguria Pierluigi Vinai, che ha partecipato alla tre giorni di incontri insieme a Federico Baldini, "un primo step molto importante per approfondire i lavori e rafforzare la collaborazione tra i partner".
La terza e ultima giornata del Meeting è stata dedicata alle visite sul campo presso alcune importanti istituzioni di ricerca e innovazione.
I partner hanno avuto l’opportunità di conoscere da vicino il GIG – Istituto nazionale di ricerca e il Silesian LabMed, infrastruttura di eccellenza dedicata alle scienze della vita e alla medicina. Le visite hanno permesso di approfondire il ruolo delle infrastrutture di ricerca e innovazione nel sostenere la competitività regionale e di comprendere le sfide e le opportunità che esse affrontano quotidianamente.
Il progetto, incentrato sull'innovazione, la ricerca e lo sviluppo, vede la partecipazione di un'ampia compagine internazionale. Tra i partner erano presenti rappresentanti locali, l'Università della Slesia e la Provincia della Slesia in Polonia, oltre a delegazioni provenienti da Paesi Bassi, Portogallo, Lituania e Moldavia.
"L'obiettivo primario emerso dalla tre giorni di incontri è l'incremento del capacity building, elemento fondamentale per consentire alle realtà comunali, municipali o provinciali di dotarsi di personale con adeguate capacità tecniche e, di conseguenza, di innovazione e ricerca - ha commentato Vinai - ed è stata evidenziata una forte volontà di collaborazione e una interessante predisposizione tra i partner verso progetti e scambi di esperienze".
"Un dato significativo emerso dalla fase di analisi è che le criticità e gli elementi sollevati dai vari partner si ritrovano in maniera simile in quasi tutti i Paesi coinvolti, in particolare in Portogallo e Moldova, che condividono difficoltà comparabili. La tematica è stata sentita in modo diverso nei Paesi Bassi, dove i partner sono principalmente centri di ricerca".
I prossimi passi del progetto, che mirano alla "costruzione di un percorso", prevedono ulteriori incontri nel 2026 prima in Portogallo e poi in Moldavia.

Focus on "capacity building" and innovation for the European SOCORE project: the third day of the Meeting
The three days of meetings of the SOCORE - Social Competences for Research and Innovation Infrastructure project, of which Anci Liguria is a partner, financed by the Interreg Europe program, ended in Katowice, Poland. For the Director of Anci Liguria Pierluigi Vinai, who participated in the three days of meetings together with Federico Baldini, the event represented "a very important first step to deepen the work and strengthen collaboration between the partners".
The third and final day of the Meeting was dedicated to field visits to some important research and innovation institutions.
The partners had the opportunity to get to know the GIG - National Research Institute and the Silesian LabMed, an excellent infrastructure dedicated to life sciences and medicine.
The visits allowed us to delve deeper into the role of research and innovation infrastructures in supporting regional competitiveness and to understand the challenges and opportunities they face on a daily basis.
The project, focused on innovation, research and development, sees the participation of a broad international team. Among the partners were local representatives, the University of Silesia and the Province of Silesia in Poland, as well as delegations from the Netherlands, Portugal, Lithuania and Moldova.
"The primary objective that emerged from the three days of meetings is the increase in capacity building, a fundamental element to allow municipal, municipal or provincial entities to equip themselves with personnel with adequate technical skills and, consequently, innovation and research - commented Vinai - and a strong desire for collaboration and an interesting predisposition among the partners towards projects and exchanges of experiences was highlighted".
"A significant fact that emerged from the analysis phase is that the critical issues and elements raised by the various partners are found in a similar way in almost all the countries involved, in particular in Portugal and Moldova, which share comparable difficulties. The issue was felt differently in the Netherlands, where the partners are mainly research centres".
The next steps of the project, which aim to "build a path", include further meetings in 2026, first in Portugal and then in Moldova.
