Il Direttore di Anci Liguria Pierluigi Vinai è a Sofia dove è cominciata la due giorni di Meeting Interregionale del progetto Interreg Europe YESVolunteer.
L'evento riunisce rappresentanti di istituzioni governative, organizzazioni giovanili, università e società civile per scambiare conoscenze e rafforzare la cooperazione nel campo del volontariato.
Con il tema "Esplorare le sfide del volontariato nelle aree rurali: quali ostacoli affrontano i volontari e come possiamo supportarli in modo più efficace?", la due giorni offre spazio al dialogo, allo scambio di pratiche e alle esperienze pratiche che evidenziano il valore del coinvolgimento dei giovani nelle comunità locali.
Questa mattina, a Sofia, presso la sede del Ministero della Gioventù e dello Sport bulgaro, i partner hanno partecipato a un vertice in cui sono intervenuti i rappresentanti del Governo bulgaro, del Ministero dell'Istruzione, del Ministero della Gioventù e dello Sport e di altre Istituzioni chiave. I partecipanti sono stati introdotti al progetto YESVolunteer dal Lead Partner e hanno partecipato a una tavola rotonda sulle iniziative finanziate dai programmi europei, gettando le basi per la cooperazione interregionale e la condivisione delle conoscenze.
Mercoledì 10 settembre il Meeting si sposterà a Svishtov per una serie di workshop e visite sul campo. Un workshop di condivisione delle pratiche, condotto dal Lead Partner e dal Collectif pour un Service Civique Européen, illustrerà approcci innovativi per supportare i volontari in tutta Europa. I partecipanti visiteranno poi l'Ecosistema Giovanile per Volontari di Svishtov, dove potranno conoscere in prima persona strutture e iniziative che consentono ai giovani di contribuire attivamente alle loro comunità. La giornata includerà anche una riunione del Comitato Direttivo e una dimostrazione culturale presso l'Anfiteatro Romano di Svishtov, offrendo una stimolante dimensione locale allo scambio.
Il progetto YESVolunteer (Fostering youth volunteering for personal and professional growth in a more social Europe) è un'iniziativa finanziata dal programma Interreg Europe.
L'obiettivo generale è valorizzare il volontariato come strumento per la crescita personale e professionale dei giovani, in particolare quelli che non studiano, non lavorano e non seguono percorsi formativi (NEET).
Gli obiettivi specifici del progetto sono: promuovere l'inclusione dei giovani nel mondo del lavoro e nella società civile; favorire lo sviluppo di competenze attraverso il volontariato, creare opportunità occupazionali, soprattutto in aree dove il volontariato è meno sviluppato; condividere buone pratiche e rafforzare la cooperazione tra le regioni europee.
Il progetto vede la collaborazione di otto partner provenienti da diversi Paesi europei: Francia (capofila), Italia (Anci Liguria), Grecia, Lituania, Belgio, Bulgaria (Comune di Svishtov), Romania e Polonia.

Interregional Meeting of the Interreg Europe YESVolunteer Project in Bulgaria
The Director of Anci Liguria, Pierluigi Vinai, is in Sofia, where a two-day interregional meeting for the Interreg Europe project YESVolunteer, has begun.
The event brings together representatives from government institutions, youth organizations, universities, and civil society to exchange knowledge and strengthen cooperation in the field of volunteering.
With the theme "Exploring volunteering challenges in rural areas: what obstacles do volunteers face and how can we support them more effectively?", the two-day event provides a space for dialogue, the exchange of best practices, and practical experiences that highlight the value of youth involvement in local communities.
This morning in Sofia, at the Bulgarian Ministry of Youth and Sports, partners participated in a summit featuring speeches from representatives of the Bulgarian Government, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and other key institutions. The lead partner introduced the YESVolunteer project to the attendees, who then participated in a round table discussion on initiatives funded by European programs, laying the groundwork for interregional cooperation and knowledge sharing.
On Wednesday, September 10, the meeting will move to Svishtov for a series of workshops and field visits. A practice-sharing workshop, led by the lead partner and the Collectif pour un Service Civique Européen, will showcase innovative approaches to supporting volunteers across Europe. Participants will then visit the Svishtov Youth Volunteer Ecosystem, where they will get a firsthand look at the structures and initiatives that enable young people to actively contribute to their communities. The day will also include a Steering Committee meeting and a cultural demonstration at the Roman Amphitheater of Svishtov, adding a stimulating local dimension to the exchange.
The YESVolunteer (Fostering youth volunteering for personal and professional growth in a more social Europe) project is an initiative funded by the Interreg Europe program.
Its overall goal is to promote volunteering as a tool for personal and professional growth for young people, particularly those who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET).
The project's specific objectives are to: promote the inclusion of young people in the workforce and civil society; encourage the development of skills through volunteering; create job opportunities, especially in areas where volunteering is less developed; share best practices and strengthen cooperation among European regions.
The project involves eight partners from various European countries: France (lead partner), Italy (Anci Liguria), Greece, Lithuania, Belgium, Bulgaria (Municipality of Svishtov), Romania, and Poland.
