Ha preso il via oggi a Friburgo, in Germania, la due giorni conclusiva di Meeting e Conferenza finale del progetto europeo SmartCommUnity (Interreg Alpine Space). L'evento, ospitato da VRSO - Verband Region Südlicher Oberrhein, vede riuniti tutti i partner per delineare la chiusura del progetto e condividere i risultati ottenuti nelle diverse aree pilota.
La delegazione ligure è presente con il Direttore generale di Anci Liguria, Pierluigi Vinai, Annalisa Cevasco e la Vicesindaca di Cogorno, Enrica Sommariva, in rappresentanza dell'area pilota della Liguria.
La prima giornata è stata dedicata alle visite-studio nelle due aree pilota tedesche di Elzach e Winden, offrendo spunti concreti sull'applicazione delle soluzioni di "smart community" in contesti alpini.
A Winden, i partner, accolti dal Sindaco, hanno visitato un innovativo percorso realizzato in collaborazione con le scuole locali: si tratta di un percorso forestale digitale arricchito da pannelli informativi dotati di QR code, un esempio di come la tecnologia possa valorizzare il patrimonio naturale e l'educazione.
A seguire, a Elzach, l'attenzione si è spostata sulla sostenibilità energetica. I partecipanti hanno visitato un impianto di riscaldamento a legna gestito in forma cooperativa. Questa centrale termica ecologica è un modello di successo, riuscendo a servire ben 500 abitazioni della comunità locale.
Nel pomeriggio, i lavori sono proseguiti con la riunione del Comitato di pilotaggio del progetto, tenutasi presso la sede della Regione Verband Südlicher Oberrhein, sempre a Friburgo. L'incontro è stato cruciale per esaminare e approfondire le procedure amministrative necessarie per la chiusura ufficiale del progetto SmartCommUnity.
La conclusione dell'evento è attesa per domani con la Conferenza finale del progetto, che si svolgerà presso lo storico Historisches Kaufhaus Freiburg. Sarà l'occasione per presentare in modo definitivo gli esiti del progetto, le best practices sviluppate e i piani per la sostenibilità futura delle iniziative nate nell'ambito di SmartCommUnity.

SmartCommUnity Meeting: Anci Liguria and Municipality of Cogorno in Fribourg
The final two-day meeting and final conference of the European SmartCommUnity project (Interreg Alpine Space) kicked off today in Freiburg, Germany. The event, hosted by VRSO - Verband Region Südlicher Oberrhein, brings together all the partners to outline the closure of the project and share the results obtained in the different pilot areas.
The Ligurian delegation is present with the General Director of Anci Liguria, Pierluigi Vinai, Annalisa Cevasco and the Deputy Mayor of Cogorno, Enrica Sommariva, representing the pilot area of Liguria.
The first day was dedicated to study visits in the two German pilot areas of Elzach and Winden, offering concrete ideas on the application of "smart community" solutions in Alpine contexts.
In Winden, the partners, welcomed by the Mayor, visited an innovative route created in collaboration with local schools: it is a digital forest trail enriched by information panels equipped with QR codes, an example of how technology can enhance natural heritage and education.
Subsequently, in Elzach, the focus shifted to energy sustainability. The participants visited a wood-fired heating plant managed in a cooperative manner. This ecological thermal power plant is a successful model, managing to serve as many as 500 homes in the local community.
In the afternoon, the work continued with the meeting of the project's Steering Committee, held at the headquarters of the Verband Südlicher Oberrhein Region, also in Fribourg. The meeting was crucial to examine and explore the administrative procedures necessary for the official closure of the SmartCommUnity project.
The conclusion of the event is expected for tomorrow with the final conference of the project, which will take place at the historic Historisches Kaufhaus Freiburg. It will be an opportunity to definitively present the results of the project, the best practices developed and the plans for the future sustainability of the initiatives born within the SmartCommUnity.
