MORE THAN A VILLAGE: Smart village transition, a model for more competitive and attractive villages in Central Europe (aprile 2023 - marzo 2026)
L'obiettivo del progetto “More than a Village” è testare e sviluppare diversi modelli di smart village nelle aree dell'Europa centrale al fine di migliorarne la competitività e l'attrattività delle zone rurali e creare condizioni favorevoli per le imprese locali. Il progetto aumenterà il potenziale delle regioni rurali sfruttando i loro punti di forza a livello locale, sviluppando quelli esistenti o creando nuove attività economiche attraverso l'uso delle ICT.
Il progetto si articola in tre WP:
WP1: BUILDING: approccio e strategia comuni per rendere i villaggi più intelligenti
WP2: TESTING: Transizione Smart village – Dalle strategie alle azioni
WP3: ROLL-OUT: Strumenti e diffusione territoriale

The objective of the “More than a Village” project is to test and develop different smart village models in areas of Central Europe in order to improve the competitiveness and attractiveness of rural areas and create favorable conditions for local businesses.
The project will increase the potential of rural regions by exploiting their strengths at the local level, developing existing ones or creating new economic activities through the use of ICT.
The project is divided into three WPs:
WP1: BUILDING: common approach and strategy to make villages smarter
WP2: TESTING: Smart village transition - From strategies to actions
WP3: ROLL-OUT: Tools and territorial diffusion
